Bastard motor
I have a 351 windsor Ford motor, with an off-set ground crank useing Chrysler HEMI rods out of a Charger motor, and a set of ported LS1 heads. Should be a neat deal, engine comes out at 381 cubic inches. Gonna run a carbed intake with a ford distributor in the front...where it should be. LOL.

You have to weld a couple of water passages to seal the head gaskets, and you have to drill out the head bolt holes to 1/2 inch. Then, you have to slot the head dowel holes on a end-mill. A little decking of the block brings the deck height to the same level...the intake will bolt right on. Then its just drilling the front of the head to get water to the radiator.

No, the 5.0's and 5.8's have the distributor going into the block with the intake molded to go around half the distributor next to the thermostat housing.
Im sure that would be easy with the LSX intake. A custom valley pan will be needed though.
