I have a 99 ls1 swapped into a 69 camaro. Today was the day to fire it up and so far it is kicking my butt. the coils and injectors have 12v in crank and run. The ground on the injectors does NOT pulse when cranking the car over.

I have traced all the grounds down and they are good.

I have read that this could be a crank sensor issue. this is a stock harness modified by me so it could be anything. the fuel pump comes on with the key and all pink wires have 12v. it should be good to go.

so how do i test the crank sensor and the crank sensor circuit?

do you see a non-zero RPM reading in your scan tool while you are cranking?

no scan tool here, i like to do it the hard way

It ended up being a bad connection at the crank sensor. the car runs perfect now
