5.3L Swap 700R4 lock up?

5.3L Swap 700R4 lock up?
Here goes. I know that you need an adaptor to run the 700R4 and the flexplate with proper bolt spacing. What about TCC lock up control? The original pcm isn't there to control this. Can the 5.3L pcm control this with out the rest of the trans info that the 4L60E would have provided? I will have VSS.
