Aeromotive sump in 2nd gen camaro tank?help!! :)

Aeromotive sump in 2nd gen camaro tank?help!! :) Ok guys ...
I bought a brand new (canadian!!! not china made! ) repro tank for my 1972camaro... a buddy had an aeromotive sump so i bought it off him..
It seems to need to stick out of the tank a lot! has anyone installed one of these ? in a 2nd gen tank would rock! Its the return line bung that makes it wanna sit so low .... any thouights ? thanks!
