Shrader valve at end of fuel rail?
I bought a fuel rail for a 99-02 F body. Everything was included except the fitting at the end of the fuel rail. Is there supposed to be a shrader valve there for fuel pressure measurements?
If so, anyone know if it's available as a separate piece from the rail?

If it's aftermarket you might have a tougher time.
I got some Schraders off eBay, ran a 1/8" pipe
die down the outside and screwed it into a proper
bushing to mate to the rails.

Yes, there is suppose to be a schrader valve inside. When you got your rail, it was obviously missing. It threads into those inside threads you mention. Thats it, thats all you need to seal it off & the way it came from the factory. They did not come with a cover or cap, even though it looks like something belongs there, because there are threads on the outside end. If you need to connect a temporary or permanent fuel pressure gauge to the system, this is where you connect it. You must remove the inside schrader valve though, when doing this. And is the probably the reason yours is missing. No biggy.

the shrader valve seals itself with an oring that is attached to it. it takes a special little wrench to get it in or out.it just screws in like the valve on a valvestem on a tire. you can get it at most parts stores. i took mine out to put in a fuel pressure sending unit in.
