LT1, but you need a special flywheel to adapt the 2-piece crank to the LT1-style clutch.

Do you necessarily have to have a LT1 Clutch?

Remember to acquire the correct transmission style.
The early LT1 style 6 speed is the one you need.
The later style (LS1) will not fit with out a bunch of work.
Save yourself the hassles and get the early transmission from the start.

Default sbc and t56

Use Mcleod bellhousing PN 8710-10
4th Gen Camaro LS1 (98-02) Hydrualics (slave and master)
SBC clutch of your choice (I used a Spec 2+)

Did this on my TPI motor.

Call Mcleod for more info but they will try and sell you their clutch and hydraulics $$$.

LT1 Bell Housing, swap to LT1 Imput Shaft and LT1 T56 Front Cover. You just have to find those parts..
