Cruise Control w/TBW-ETC Question
I hope I guessed wrong on wiring my cruise control out of an '06 Escalade with ETC thinking that a)Cruise Power, b)Cruise Set/Coast and c)Cruise Accel were all looking for +12V. Are any/all of these pins simply looking for a -12v ground?
Many thanks!
Many thanks!

what ECU is it ?? (E38??) also yes i am pretty sure that is will be looking for a momentary 12V not constant.. also do you have any other device in between the ECU recieving these signals... other connections that could be missing could be the brake inputs that are needed .. there will more thanlikely be a pin that needs a 12v source and when brake is applied will lose the 12 V's
hope this is a start for you

It's a standard Gen-III ('99-'06) truck controller (Blue & Green connectors), but I don't know what the model is.
I do have the 2-Mode brake switch for cruise that has both the On (Brake Light) and Off (Cruise) terminals.
I had assumed that the Cruise Power was a constant 12V+ interrupted by the brake switch and the Set/Accel - Coast was a 12V+ momentary pulse. No Joy!
Plan B is to change Accel/Coast signals to 12V- but I wanted to confer with someone who knew these things before frying the TAC or the ECM.
I will wait 'til the weekend to see what I can learn.

ok well the problem could be that you have a constant power.... the tac is looking for a momentary 12v for any of the 3 settings .... so to turn on the cruise is momentary 12v then to set is another 12v momentary and to turn off the cruise is 12v momentary again
