Default 1994 GMC : Sierra 1500

Like the title says I got a 1994 GMC Sierra 1500 with a 5.7 v-8 in it. I'd like to do an LS-1 swap. Anyone done this, have any ideas?

i am doing a swap in a chevelle right now mine is on a semi budget same principle thought i would buy a 6.0 and 4l80 out of a 3/4 ton truck from 02 04 they run from 1800 to 2500 you get the harness from the motor you can either send it off to get cut for around 250 or i got mine from fuelinjectionconnection.com for 500 thats cheap for a custom harness they will also reprogram the computer for cheap you must get the vats tuned off you can get a in tank walbro pump for around 80 ls new truck headers should work i modified truck motor by drilling a piece of 1/8 plate to bolt to the block and welded an old style truck mount to the plate but moved the mount back around 2 inches it was easy and costs obout 30bucks then bolted the mounts together put the motor in and when the headers cleared and tacked them in then measure your driveshaft
