fuel pressure gauge
I just started up my LS1 for the first time after mounting it in a Mazda Miata. It seems to run nice at idle , but stumbles after 5 - 10 seconds at higher RPM (2000). It sounds like it might be starving for fuel, so I want to check the rail pressure. Is there pressure gauges available that screw directly onto the rail at the schrader valve? Avail at parts stores, or is it a GM-only type part?
Also, what is the proper break-in procedure for a fresh rebuilt LS1?

just go to advance autoparts and buy i fuel presure tester. its like 30 bucks but you really need one to diagnose any type of fuel problem. it just screws on to the schrader valve at the end of the fuel rail. it fits almost all late model cars (ex. fords , but comes with an adapter for the fords).

Almost any of those Fuel Pressure Test Gauge that the local parts store sell should have adapter to connect to the schrader valve on the end of the Fuel rail.
Any of the Related CSK, Autozone, etc and local parts stores should have something or you can rent one if you have a rental place.
