Hi everyone
I have a LQ4 out of a 2001 gmc Sierra 4x4.I know that on the F body cars on the red ECM connector pin #30 is the "fuel enable signal" but the Vats info from the BCM is transfered to the ECM by class 2 serial data link.On the pin out for the sierera connectors i can not find the "fuel enable signal" and the pin # 30 on red connector is not used .So where does the 50HZ signal from the vats bypass module have to go .Iam not sure where to go with this if anyone has good info i would be thankful

Just get it turned off in the computer. A mail order tune would probably be cheaper and less hassle and would help the performance all at the same time.

the trucks use the class 2 bus to send the fuel enable signal, not a 5 volt 50hz square wave.

are you doing that 2.2 eco ? did you find a bypaSS for the class 2 bus ?

i had it tuned out and the tuner told me you can not bypass the truck ones, only the f cars can be bypassed.
