67 Camaro - Newbie LS1 Question Guys, lots of high and low mileage LS1 type engines for sale.
Online I found an 80k mile '99 camaro LS1 with a rebuilt auto tranny to go with it. Comes with all accessories, harness, and computer for 2100 bucks.
Is this a decent deal? If not, What should I pay for a 80k combo for LS1 plus a 4l60e?
I have been looking at going 5.3 as well, but all I can find is 150k plus mileage engines.
My goal is 400-450 flywheel hp for a driver/autocross on weekends type car. I hoping to get there with just cam & springs change on one of these engines.
Most inexpensive way to get there? It is going in my 67 Camaro.
