Default windstop

well after owning my 2000 ss vert for 4 years now finally invested in a windstop (purchased today for 125) hopefully this will not cause my wind burns anymore when i have the top down on the expressways! how does everyone like these windstoppers?

One of the best investments I've made for vert ride quality.
Even with it folded down it's still a huge difference.

The one I got is fantastic. I live in Germany where I drive the autobahn a lot. With the windstop, there is less turbulence at 130 than there was at 80 without the windstop. The only time I take it out is to put the slicks in the back seat.

to tell you the truth i keep my windstop down unless my girl is in the car and the top is down. however, she doesn't like the wind messing up her hair, so the top is usually up with her in the car. really, the windstop is rarely flipped up unless i'm driving and need to be on the phone (i'll put up the windows and windstop temporarily and its pretty quiet).

whenever i'm driving with the top down, i like to keep the windstop down as i don't really like the look of it and i feel like its blocking my radar detector. i THINK that it is reducing some of the turbulence even when it is down which is why i keep it installed.

They're ok, but when you get a big gust of wind or sometimes make a turn it falls down -- I don't know why it isn't keyed with a peg to keep it up all the time, the mechanism to hold it up is pretty weak!

You must have got a cheap one, or it's just defective.
Mine has never done that. Not even in a peel out.
