Default Trunk release cable?

Is there a cable in the trunk to release open the trunk.

my electrical system is being funny and the key doesn't work with the lock due it being old.

most cars have a cable that you can pull on to , do fbody 'verts have these?

Thanks

I've never seen a inside "escape" pull cable on a f-body. They did become mandatory at some point, I'm thinking '02 or something. Probably some exceptions for small trunks like the 'verts.

In any case, you can still use your key to open the trunk if the electrical solenoid isn't working.

Good. When I put someone in my trunk, I want them to STAY there.
