Default Ultimate find

Went to the junkyard over the weekend and found a near new top and rear window skirt on a 4th gen bird. I asked the cashier what they charge for a convertible top. He told me $130 and i was like...ok sounds good. I removed the complete assembly took it to the cashier. He rang it up and said that will be $30 dollars, with my jaw on the floor i paid him and ran. This is the best score at the yard for me to date and i have been going for sometime. I will post pics as soon as i have time to put it on.

I was really amazed at how easy it was to remove everything, being that I had no idea what I was doing. Although I do have a knack for figuring things out. I would definitely say don't be afraid to tackle this project yourself.

That is a very good deal. If you can't do the labor yourself, it's hard to put a new top on a convertible for much under $1,000.
