Default This section sure dies this time of year....

... so here is some T/A 'eye candy' until the next driving season.
Photos taken on the Tail of the Dragon on the NC/TN border.
Included is one of our other 'verts at the Atlanta Motor Speedway two weeks ago. I had never been on 24 degree banks before. That was fun! Would love to try it with the T/A too.

I agree my camaro is getting ready to be put up for the winter. Haven't drove it this past week with it being 45 degrees and raining here. Still good driving weather just not top down weather.

I get home on December 18th, first thing I am doing is pulling the car out of the garage and going for a ride. Top down of course

Car's been parked for over a month now. Only left the garage 6 times this year anyway (runs like a top, just bored of it).

Nice!! I like the beach photo. Southern Cal and Florida sure are the places to be this time of year, and all winter for that matter.

Here in SC I am still riding with the top down. If the weather keeps going this way, I may be able to keep it down until Christmas.

I am still able to drive mine still which I do enjoy. I know a few people up by chicago who have had their car in storage for a month now. Though I do drive a lot less now being that my work is in my backyard on the farm. Step outside and I'm already at work. Lol.

I had mine out this weekend with the top down. 70°F this time of year is pretty rare and it's only getting colder, so I'm grabbing any opportunity I can to go topless. I drive mine year round, except in inclement weather, but it'll be coming out of the bird house less and less as the weeks go by. I'm already looking forward to Spring.

If I remember right you are in TN. The periods of mild weather have 'lingered' a bit this year. It has been a nice change. Technically I could brave the sunny 60 degree forecast for today (possibly a 2 hour window of opportunity). It is tough to get in that mindset when you wake up to 24 degree temps in the morning.

Raleigh NC, actually. But Deals Gap is one of my favorite driving destinations.

Sorry, my mistake. If you ever feel like some company along the Cherohala or Dragon please let me know. My wife always comes along too.

It looks like his pics were taken on the Tail of the Dragon. There are several professional photogs along the route who take pics. You can view proofs on their website and order what you want online. That's where I got these...

You can find all manner of info and links to the various photographers from:
http://www.tailofthedragon.com/

Most of mine were taken by http://killboy.com/ or http://www.moonshinephoto.com/

Love those photos Saturn5.

Thanks 99'Cajun...., there are now 5 professional photographers along the Dragon route as of October this year. It used to be just www.killboy.com but so many others wanted a piece of the pie. The 911 photo was also taken by a professional photographer during an event at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. They cost about $7 -$10 for each picture unless you get a package deal which helps out. Seems like a lot of $$ but after a couple of years go by the photos are so worth it.
