Hit 60 up here in Michigan here too. Gotta wait for a couple of rainy days to wash the salt from the roads before I think of getting my car out. Definitely getting antsy.

I think I jinxed it. The sun hasn't been out since. Typical March weather.

Where in West NC are you? We need to meet up for a Deals Gap and Cherohala Skyway drive sometime.

We live in Franklin. We usually head over that way once or twice a year but never on weekends.

Saturday was nice, lower 60's. The wife and I went to lunch at 5 guys and ended up taking the long way home which turned out to be a 8hr 240 mile detour. The spontaneous rides are the best. We found some really nice roads and scenery as well as about a half dozen taverns and restaurants I hope to stop at soon.

That's a long detour!

If you are ever in West PA, stop at Dino's Grill in Latrobe, PA. Best wings I've ever had, and they have Lienekugel on draft, which we don't get in TN very often. I eat there 3 nights in a row when I'm there for business. I've never been to Eastern PA except the airport, and that was a horrible experience (4 hour layover and still missed a flight).

Actually we are going to do a PA road trip this year. We are hoping to find some of those little places with great food and people. Eastern PA is nice as long as you get away from Philly.

Just came home from Pittsburgh Thursday after picking up our 'new' Aerocoupe. We took the T/A and could have had the top down up there with incredibly warm weather but we were loaded with 4 tires in back to put on the new ride to get home. Unfortunately it rained almost the entire trip home.

You can fit 4 tires in the back? How?

3 in the rear (with the seats folded down) and one in the trunk. Remember that these were the 15" variety for the Monte.
