Default Car Show Pictures

WoW, what at awesome day! We went to a Pontiac only car show in Orlando today. There were about 90 cars and it was a fantastic time! They had great music, good food and beautiful Pontiac cars!
There were about nine fourth generations and a couple of third generations.
I was parked between two 67 GTOs and it was like my car was hanging out with her grandparents!
I met some really nice and cool Pontiac fans and even joined the Wide Track Warriors, the car club that sponsored the show!
The best part of the show was the trophy my car was awarded, I was in total shock when they called out her number to win first place in the 1967-2002 Firebird class!
Here are a few pics.

Congratulations!! Quite a nice turnout with some sweet rides. Your car looks fantastic and obviously it is with you winning 1st place.
Shows are so enjoyable most of the time. Everyone is usually on the same wavelength and cars are the only topic of the day. Along with nice weather and you just can't go wrong.
My first show is coming up in two weeks, weather permitting. It still can snow here in the mountains, right up to April 1.

It's car show season here in Florida again and I took her to a show on Saturday and Sunday, she was successful in both shows and is still my "Trophy Mistress"
These cars are slowly disappearing and I just don't see very many at show shows anymore. When they do show up, people are attracted to them...

Saturday show, I had to compete in the 2000-2016 group and there were new Challengers, Mustangs and Camaros,

She won a second place and a purple 2015 challenger beat my TA...the guy that won was very cool...

This was the Sunday show.
A church was the sponsor and it was a car show Veterans Day event. Everything was free and they were very nice people!

They had two categories, the most patriotic car and the best of show. They gave out a first, second and several honorable mention awards.

The most patriotic was an old Army jeep and best of show first place was a 2014 yellow transformers Camaro.
Second place was my TA.

My old girl beat several new challengers and Camaros along with some older Corvettes and a Camaro...

Allright!!! Racking up the wins. Nice going. The car looks great. I certainly agree that the nice looking 'show' examples are slowly fading away.

Yesterday Nov 14 '15 at a Toys for Tots cruise-in at the local Chevy dealer. About 90-100 cars. I parked next to a '79 which was cool. I kept the top up since it was only in the 30's when I arrived.

You have such a nice, clean looking car NC01TA.

Your T/A represents these future classic cars very well!!!

Thanks my friend! Good luck at all the upcoming FL shows. Please post more photos as the season progresses. No better way to spend a weekend day than hanging with car people and enjoying cars.
I entered 20 shows this year here in NC, GA, and also SC. 17 of the 20 were in my AMC though. Below is a photo of what it looks like (taken on the Tail of the Dragon). I won something at 12 of those 17 shows including 2 at one show which was kinda embarrassing. The one photo with the bear was the tallest I have ever won. To put it in perspective, the bear is about 10" tall. I have a bear for each car. You can see the T/A bear in my back seat in the bottom photo.
