Default First show of 2015 with T/A

I'm ashamed to say that this is my first show of the season with the Trans Am. I've been showing my AMC almost every week thus far. The T/A is still looking good. No trophy this week but there was only a 'Top 10' and 60 cars were registered. The odds were tough.

I just pulled mine out of storage of 5 years and am trying to get it back into show condition. I can't wait to get back out there with it.

It will get quite a bit of attention if presented well and in decent show condition. It's hard to believe but it's been 13 years since the last one rolled off the line. These 'verts are not a common sight at all anymore.

You have a very nice, clean and well cared for T/A, I am sure she received plenty of attention.
You are correct, seeing a convertible T/A these days is a rare sight! In a way, that is a good thing but it also means more and more show up in the auto recycling facility, never to be seen again.
I just hope they will increase in value some day!
Most people say that will never happen to these cars, but you never know!

Either way, I really enjoy taking her out on the weekends for a drive down by the beach or just around town!

I know when I first got the car in 2002 the judges wouldn't even look at it. Life took over and the car sat in the garage waiting for me to get to a point that I could start paying attention to it again. That time has finally come.
BTW - your car looks brand new - good job on keeping it up

Thank you guys! It hasn't changed a whole lot from the day I drove it off the showroom floor way back when in Concord, NC.
With 45k miles accumulated over the 14 years I have a few rock chips, but not too much else is different other than the BFG tires instead of the Goodyears (which they don't make in the 16" size anymore).
bgw70, the signs just state info about the low production numbers of the T/A verts (396 base T/A verts and 796 WS6 'verts for model year 2001) and also info about the LS1 engine, such as 310 HP, etc.. Regular info for us here but interesting for those not familiar with the F-bodies.
