Default Who has a windstop for convertibles?

I have been talking to Mark at 6LE about possibly making windstops since they are no longer available. He said that it looks like it could be an easy product to make. The only issue is that he would need one to reference to recreate the mounting methods and dimensions. Would anyone on here be willing to let him
"rent it" to make a production prototype? All of us other convertible owners would be eternally grateful to you!

This is something that I've always been curious about for my wife's convertible too. I've also been curious about how they attach to the car, since I've never seen one in person. Definitely would be interested in this.

I have one. A lot of us on here do, but I have never seen another one in person.
I really think all verts should have them, when the boot is on as well the cars lines really look good.

That's where we got them previously, doesn't look like they sell them anymore though. Originally cost $150.

The back slides over the seatbelt guides and the front sides slide lock into some attachments you bolt on to the top frame.

Looks like the manufacturer discontinued them as well.

I currently have my interior gutted, i could spare mine for a while if it can be reverse engineered without being destroyed.

Yeah we definitely wouldn't damage it at all. Just need to see it in person and make measurements... If you let us borrow it we'll obviously pay shipping both ways and hook you up in some way (any parts you're interested in?)... Thanks!

Yeah that's fine. Let me know the shipping address and I'll get it boxed up for an estimate. Do you have a UPS account? That would probably simplify things.

Is Fed Ex ok? I could just e-mail you a label to drop it off...

Yeah that'll work, there's a terminal for them right down the road from me.
Will you need the dimensions & weight of the package for the label?

Yes please. Just e-mail me the weight and dimensions and the address it's coming from and I can e-mail you back a label...

On a side note, I'm very honored that you trust us with this, we will take extra care of it I promise you

I would be down for one, if the price is realistic! My '00 Z28 is our road trip vehicle and the wife hates the back wind...

Mark do you plan to make these out of the same material as the original OR something else? Some of the newer ones are just shaped plexi and even feature logos and text with led lighting? I have been searching for another one of these for a long time too, interested to see what you come up with...
