Default Replacing rear shocks

How in the bloody hell do you get to the shock mount nuts in these? I know where they are, but the damn seatbelt bracket covers the little indentation that they sit in and I can't get a wrench or a ratchet in there to save my damn life.

I found the real tricky part is using an open ended wrench, on an angle, on the nut while using an adjustable wrench to hold the shock tab to keep it from spinning. It takes for ever to do this because you can only turn the nut a little at a time.

It is definitely a super big pain installing rear shocks on convertible cars. I am pretty sure that I used two open ended wrenches on the last set I installed and I remember that it wasn't any fun at all.

I took the seat belt brackets out on mine.

Now that I am thinking about it again I had to do that too so I was able to gain access to them.
