Default Who makes a good but not expensive (Bolt in) SFC?

I really dont want to weld anything to my car since its rare so I guess bolt in SFC's is what I need. I dont have the $$$$ for the SLP ones so any help would be great. OH, guess my BMR vert SFC's will be for sale, still brand new sitting in my garage.

Only other ones I know of are Don Goetz SFCs - you can find him on the SSOA board - chirpthird.com

Weld'em in. Your car will still be rare and stay stronger. Just get a good welder...

Bolt-ins I think concentrate the load too much, and
don't do as good a job. You'll be drilling holes up front
and though that is a bit less mutilation than weld beads,
I think that well installed SFCs are going to be more of a
bonus than originality, years down the road. Unless this
car never sees the street.

Weld beads can be taken off with a cutoff wheel, ground
flat and painted over, non-obvious if you are clean with
your work. Shoot a little undercoating over the whole thing,
and done. But once they're on you probably will want to
leave them be, and just give that advice to the next guy
(if you ever decide to sell it, which why would you?).

I don't know about the SLP for verts but the SLP for coupes using existing holes for mounting you don't drill anything.... I had bolt ons for my WS6 because I don't really know a good shop to trust with the welding, I had weld ons on my 93 and I don't think they really installed them correctly.

The Bolt ons will work fine for "regular type" driving the nuts didn't loosen up I checked them every oil change. I would guess for autocross type events the load theory may play a factor...

Just bolted in a pair of SLP's SFCs this weekend. No holes to drill... uses existing holes to mount. D Goetz work the same from what I hear. I would have gone with Don's, but I got a deal I couldn't refuse on the SLP's. No chance to do a good shake down run it, but driving a few miles around my neighborhood, I did notice a big difference in the car's stiffness. So far, I am impressed.

The extra $ you may pay now will be a good investment in the future. Weld in SFC's will be stronger in the long run.
