Default Ordered new top.

I ordered my new top on Wednesday. I went with the plastic window becasue of where I live. I will have a friend take a bunch of pictures while we do the whole thing and I will try to do a whole write up on it. But please be patient it MIGHT take a COUPLE of weeks to get it up and written. I will be replacing the drivers seat as well for a couple weeks while I get mine repadded. And the new drilled and slotted rotors and brakes will go on as well. Plus I am rewiring the sound system and adding a JVC touchscreen head unit. Pioneer and Kicker speakers.

Thanks.

I have had my top ripped twice in the two years that I owned it. The window was busted out by it getting twisted in the back and shattering. My dad's car (Lincoln Town Car) has had the back window smashed twice and the drivers window smashed once. My dad ownes his own company and gets employees that are mad when he has to fire them. I also own my own company and have the same results. The next door neighbor is involved with some sneeky activity, and has tried to break into the cars and house a couple times. Plus the glass window was 500 bucks and the plastic was 250. So if the window does get busted again it won't hurt the wallet as much.

If my neighbor tried breaking into anything of mine, I would be getting a new neighbor.

I ordered mine the day I posted and it got to my brother's house yesterday. He's going to get it put on on his next day off. What color did you order?

I ordered the stock black. I guess that because of the plastic window it took a little longer.

So I took it out of the box today to make sure it was the right one before I started to tear down my car...

Glad that I did. They sowed it together inside-out. I'm going to have to send that one back and get another one.

Did you get it installed yet? My brother dropped mine off at the place that's going to do it for $350 yesterday. I'll post the pics when he sends me them. Should be done by this weekend.

I got it put in. But it still needs a little tightening. But didn't do to bad for a couple of guys who have never done this before.
