Default Searched no luck. Duel timing chain question.

I have a 413ci. And the single timing chain broke. Im upgrading to a dual timing chain with my new setup. What do I have to do to get it to fit with the stock timing cover? I know the oil pump has to be spaced out. Does the cover need to be modded and were if so.?

Thanks, Eric

When I upgraded to a dual timing chain we mainly clearenced around the circular part that sorrounds the seal. It was just a lil bit of fitting with some clay then grinding down some then again and again.

I am running a Rollmaster dual chain, a Melling pump, and a unmodified stock cover. Even with the same make of chain and pump, it is hit and miss if you have to modify the cover or not.

So far I have no complaints about it. It is holding up good so far with the car making 690 rwtq @ 3600 RPMs and 720 rwhp @ 4200 RPMs. Started to run out of injector, so I have switched over to 96# ones.

I have the whole engine cradle out of the car. I was inspecting the crank and rods. So this is going to make it alot easier. Plus the car is in my shop and i have everything needed to do the work. Thanks for the help everyone.
