Default New best in the 1/4!!!

I had a complete blast last night! Good racin' and good turn out....(Fayetteville Motorsports Park)

I made 9 passes last night and ran super consistant. I was hot lapping most of the time and started to get some heat soak by the 3rd and 4th run. Raced my friend in his C5 402 cubic inch stroker about 5 times, raced a centrifugal C5Z06 and a 2006 Yellow C6 Z06 on CCW drag pack.....needless to say I was very happy! Only lost once, but I had a better E.T....to my friend's 402. This was my first time at this track in about 2 years.

Car is a stock 2006 C6 A6 (2.56 gears) w/ MP112 Magnacharger w/ 3.0 pulley and borla exhaust. Was running 17'' BFG Drag Radials. (stock manifolds/cats, stock heads/cam)

Started off the night with an 11.5 at 121 mph w/ a 1.8 60'. Best 60' were from launching the car off idle....

Best two runs here against a Silver C5 402 stroker and Yellow C6Z (I ran the right lane all night) Best run was an 11.35 at almost 124 w/ a 1.7 60':

My goal is to have a 10 second street car, probably get some gears and that should get me there...

Nice times. How much power does your car make?

Nice dude those are some good numbers for just a catback and a blower. I think those set of gears you plan on getting will throw you into the 10s

Thanks for all the compliments...

I was thinking about everything from the weekend and I know there are some improvements that can be made. I was at 3/4 of a tank of gas, and I was running on the competitive driving mode most of the night. I turned the traction control OFF for the last run and went 11.35.... I think it has an 11.2 in it as it sits....

I just saw someone ran an 10.99 in a magnacharged vette, but they were making 497 rwhp and 518 tq. I doubt adding headers will get me there...

I'm gonna do some research and will be back.....with 10's...LOL!

Honestly some headers, a little less gas in the tank and a little luck could land him a 10.9x. I'd imagine it still has a little bit more 60' in her.

I saw your car run nice times. my c6 m6 made 510 rwhp with procharger p1 when i added kooks 17/8 headers it made 546 rwhp. plus alot more torque. so i think adding the extra tq will help you get out of the hole plus the added hp and you can run 10's. next time your at the track i'll stop by and say hello .
