Default 1997 C5 rearend in 2005 C6
We blew the rearend up in a 05 C6 and i have a 97 c5 rearend, they were both 6spd cars. Just wondering if they will interchange? Hopefully we will be able to put the c5 into the c6. Any help will be very helpfull. Thanks

It can be done but it's not exactly a mere 'bolt in' type of deal, some welding/fabricating involved.

the c5 rear end needs to be modded to accept the mounting "wings" that the c6 rear uses. If you can afford it just pick up a C6 Zo6 rear and be done with it.
