Congrats. Looks great.

Now grab a 10mm wrench, an 18 mm wrench, an 18 mm deep well socket and drop her down a bit.

Nice upgrade. I just sold my 01 WS6 and bought a black 02 Z. My WS6 was pewter also.

I just lowered mine about an inch on the factory bolts. My picture above is still factory ride height.

The only thing I miss sometimes is how easy pewter was to keep clean but black is totally worth it. Your car looks familar, are you on corvetteforum?

I strongly agree, honestly I think the original owner rised it because it seems taller than most stock Z's.

i agree. thats the tallest z ive ever seen.
i wouldnt spend the $ on nicer shocks. just drop it on aftermarket bolts. and save up and do coilovers if you can fork out 1700$.

I'm on that forum also. Only had mine for 2 weeks. No reason to replace the shocks just drop it down on the factory bolts for now. How many miles you have on it ? Coilovers would be nice. Did yours come with any mods ? I see some kind of aftermarket exhaust.

X owner: Ivan Stewart

The shocks can go on easily with a redbull and a lift,.... please lower the car for the time being. Think of all the locals that'll see it.

Great looking ride,.. congrats....but, ... wow, thats tall.

I have not done a new alignment yet but mine drives a straight line and handles no different then before just sits a little lower. I like the powdercoated factory wheels if mine had not come with the custom wheels that are on it I would have had the factory ones powdercoated just like yours.

When I first got my car it had been lifted a ways above stock, I think because someone had lowered it then set it back to sell it, but didnt know where to set it....

Could be your case too
