I had the g5x3 on my LS1 trans am.. Absolutely loved it's responce, power band, and power gains. Retained good streetability as well but at the same time cammed hard enough to shake the car a bit at stop lights. I have no personal experience with the MS4 though, but at the same time, the cars I've driven with an MS3 weren't too bad either. I do know that people put the LG cams on cam doctors, get the specs, custom grind and still don't make the same power as LG because they don't have the exact shape of the lobes correct on their custom grind ones. LG is worth the extra money IMO though.

Just giving you a hard time!
Yes I did. I daily drove it for 1 1/2 years. Absolutely loved it. Credit goes to my tuner though, amazing job.
It is not something that I think a lot of people would have absolutely loved to DD (410s 4400 stall ported heads ported intake dumped exhaust weight reduction etc etc etc).. Other than the exhaust that car could have been 100% streetable and very nice to drive.
Did its duties at the track also. 7.2s@95.5 1.6x 60' times.. It lifted the tires about a foot and then unloaded causing me to spin through the sixty foot. Would have been 6.7-6.8s on motor if I would have put some suspension under it but I lost interest.

You might want to add that if you have to fly cut the pistons to run those cams also. Cause that adds more work then just doing a cam install. I think the ms4 is to big to run with out fly cutting but I could be worng.

Take your cam swap money and put it towards a sports car with a 6-speed manual trans and call it a day...it'll seem faster for a whole lot less money! J/K....my vote would be for a much smaller cam for an auto w/ factory setup.

What size stall do you have? Both of those will require a fairly large stall. I personally would go with the G5x3 simiply because the lift isnt as crazy, I dont see the benefit of putting that much more stress on the valvetrain for the minimal gain. The MS3 is a good cam aswell. This is just my opinion, as I know many people use the MS4 w/o issues.
