Default Bought the nto5r's today

They should arrive tomorrow, I'll get them mounted and hopefully give them a try this weekend at test and tune. I won't run them on my vet yet, still have a couple things to do, so, I'll try them on my g8gt first. I bought the Nto5r
285-40-18's, they are about 27"s tall, just about 3/8" taller then the 275-40-18 stock height of 26.6. I may at some point go to a 373 rear and that would work out pretty well with the taller dr's. The g8 is an IRS also, it may not be a perfect match, but, I'll at least find out if they hook. My g8 is 700 lbs heavier and 100 hp less at the rear wheels (g8 313rwhp) (vet 414 rwhp). I'll keep you posted, the quickest my g8 has ever run is 13.20 at 105 w/2.05 60'.
It spins the hell out of the tires and I contribute that to my bad 60' times. These should get me into the 1.90's I hope.

Just got them mounted today and put on tonight. I'm gonna put a few miles on the tomorrow to make sure the don't vibrate. Its gonna be in the 50's this weekend, if I can get everything done I might take the vet instead of the g8. Need to re-adjust the new clutch, change to some 20-50 mobil one and see how it goes. Are you talking about my
g8 as that sexy thing or my 3 legged sheep? She's real perty

I'm loaded and ready for the track tomorrow to test them first on the g8. I ran them today on both the vet and the g8. They hook up big time on the street, if they duplicate that on the track I'm am really gonna be impressed also. I'll update tomorrow night after I get back.

Are those drag radials on the front? I believe the OP was talking about the NT05r, which are drag radials.

I was going today, but, looks like rain will end that plan. Next week I'll plan it again for kcir. They worked awsome on my g8, went almost 2 tenths quicker and 1.5 mph fast.

Just so we're clear here, we got two different tires in this thread. The NT05 and the NT05R. The NT05Rs just came out this year. I'm debating trying a set...
