widening wheels
Just wondering if anybody has widened the factory C5 ZO6 rear wheels? I'm considering doing the L5 rear fenders and just looking at the options for rear wheels. Obviously I'm looking for the extra to be added to the outer lip, looking to go from 18"X10.5" to 18"X13".
I've called
1) weldcraft
2) viking wheel
3) kosman wheel
4) vaughn machine
5) champion wheel
Not all of them answered but the ones who did said if it is a front mount wheel they could, but if its a rear mount then the added material would have to go in the middle. I'm not sure? I think they are reffering to the dished area right past the bead on the wheel. Bascally where the tire would sit as you are rotating the wheel mounting the tire.
Any info would be great, Thanks

The widening will have to take place to the inside, to the barrel. They will not be able to add to the lip of the wheel. If you want to widen this way you could space the wheel further out using either a spacer or a wheel adapter.
