what is the record for the fastest corvette vert with an irs just curious what the fastest convertable corvette with an irs is. or with a solid axle swap. my buddy has a 2000 vette vert with a d1 blower hci stock ci built bottom end ls1 on a 100 shot and i believe he went like 9.5 full weight.
now he's building a a 427 with an f1 and i wanna say 24lbs of boost, and a power glide, irs still in place. just curious if his is the fastest or not or will be

the shop that is building it are expecting some 8.7 or better i believe.

Robs car should definately be very impressive! Looking forward to seeing his results. So far to my knowledge, he will be chasing my 8.6, but I'm sure he can catch up to that by the end of the season.
Only problem is that I will be too! (if I can ever get a chance to work on my own car..)

and were hoping for 8.30 not 8.70 the old record for a vert was like 9.50 or 40 and that was held by eastcost and yes usally everybody is chasing them and Keith car is fast but its not a vert
