Depends this is a loaded question. Any one that has a particular air intake will go to their grave saying that theirs is the best. All the guys from my Corvbette club go for 3; Black Wing, Vararam Snake Charmer, or the Halltech Killer Bee. Each one has proven performance.

vararam or halltech. Personally I loved the vararam, tho I had a c5.

I would either go with the Vararam or the new KillerBee II... I have K&N on my car and its really nice and fit great, but my #1 choice would be the Vararam!

yea what about the rain and water gettin in. I heard some horror stories about some cars coming back from carisle and those that had the varram the cars engine was hydrolocked?

I have the vararam and we have monsoons here and I have never experienced hydro lock. Now with any ram air if its set up low and you go through a big puddle yeah you will experience hydro-lock. Hell I have turned my car off going into a puddle because I didn't know and I looked like a fool but hey it is what it is. It wasn't near as deep as I thought. The vararam is a great performer and it has been proven to take off up to .3 off your time on a stock trim.

I have a C5 and whet with the Vararam but Callaway is a the one I wanted but there are back logged for awhile and there just to expensive but they are better built IMO. Either one is gonna give you gains espically when the mod bug hits you!
