Way over KBB
Ok so I found the nice 02 Z06 that has around 7k miles. The problem is the guy wants $10k over blue book. lol How much more "premium" on the price can you justify for such a low mileage vette? Thanks in advance. Best I can do is rationalize with him and say I'll pay excellent or retail for it?

I wouldn't pay more than what blue book has it as in excellent condition which is only about $25K private party value. Retail is around $28K...what is this guy asking for it? If you're dead set on that particular car with that ridiculously low miles then you don't have many options.

You are gonna get that with Vette owners. We all love our vettes and like to think they hold value really well, but some guys are unrealistic.
When I was shopping there were some down here with just rediculous prices listed. I was looking at 02-04 Z06s with under 40k miles in the $21-26k range and I was seeing some with high mileage listed for like $35k. Hell, even some regular C5s with over 50k miles were listed for $30k
I paid $24k for my 03 Z06, it has 26k miles

Nature of the beast.
Find another car, as another poster said: his car, his rules. Unfortunate, yes, but there are better options out there.
Too low a mileage, and it could be risky.

sold my 02 Z with 9800 miles for $25k at the beginning of spring. I had noticed on kbb after I sold the car, that the retail price went up $3-$4k. Wait till winter and watch the prices drop.
