Default VA Speed 427 makes too much power...

THE 315's I was running were pretty useless on my street car. They would spin through 3rd gear. I tried a set of ET Street II's and they stuck very well but killed the handling. I figured I'd just put more rubber on the back so I installed Lewis Five rear quarters and 345x30x19's on the back.

Just finished today and got a few pics.

Hell no it don't hook! Just a slight blip of the throttle and we were spinning through TC like it wasn't even there. And I mean a very slight blip of the throttle. Barely enough to make the exhaust tone louder than idle.
It's insane in the best of ways!

Looks bad *** (I love white Vettes), but I think you should have opted for the splash guards also.
(I'll take a closer pic of mine)

The splash gaurds are there. I left them black and they dissappear against the black tire in the pics. Without them the area behind the wheels would be paintless in no time.

I hope to hit MIR again at a rental and try to get a few clean runs in. I was really disspointed last time when It stopped shifting - my fault, I cooked the clutch.

Nice Kevin.

Are you running a vaccum pump on that motor ? I see the braded line from the valve cover running to the drivers side some where low.
