Default Cam Question

Looking to get a cam for my 03 Z06. Any suggestions on what cam and where to get it installed? I really just want the sound. I'm in love with the sound of a loping car. I know that strikes a lot of you by surprise. I just want it to sound amazing at idle. If it gets me going as well than two birds with one stone. I had a fully built cammed nitrous fed car before and I don't really care about running this car. I'm on 24 but I've grown up, street/track racing isn't my thing any more. I want it more for car meets and gatherings and at stop lights to make people jealous if that makes any sense.

Honestly, a 228/232 or a 230/234 will be perfect, ask Pat G to help spec it through Thunder Racing and you'll be good to go-

The tried and true 224/224 112 will do fine. The cam will make good torque and have nice manners from 1200 rpm to redline. 750 rpm idle will lope and can be brought down to 725 if more lope is needed. The key to lope is keeping the idle speed down. Even the stock cam will lope a bit if the idle speed is cut by 50 - 100 rpm.

As some has stated. For what your purposes are, i wouldnt go larger than a TR224 or 228. Mild cam, great numbers, not huge pain to tune (granted your tuner has a clue) and either one of those on a 112 will give you exactly what your lookin for.

I'm not sure how to respond to this.
This new Audio system will cost atleast 2k to do correctly, assuming you want it done correctly? is emissions a concern also?
Since you're in Houston, I'll say give EnglandGreen a call
