Hot Rod Top speed Shoutout @ Maxton anyone?
I've got to finish loading the car, packing the chute, and refilling the spare nitrous bottle. 1200 miles one way in a full containment seat is gonna be fuuuuuuuuuun. Hoping for the Big 2xx and a green hat after 5 years of chasing this goal.
Anyone else going or racing?

Well 18hrs of driving 1208 miles getting 23.6mpg. First pic is of the sled before I left my house. Ex-cab S10 has a mean sounding Kurt Urban LS motor, Jag is a friends with a 572BBC, Green Camaro is a SBC with twin MP70's. Cobra has a Hemi'headed BBF. Tomorrow is first day of racing, so more cars to show up still.
I passed tech for 200 with flying colors (thank goodnesss), hoping for the wind to be gone tomorrow and nice 70 degree weather.

Well 1st pass no traction till 3rd so nitrous window switch didn't activate, 17e easy motor pass. 2nd run *** end passed front end at 104mph. 3rd run couldn't keep tires hooked up and went through at 183. Very dissapointing experience. Friend of mine got both Hot Rod class wins in his BBC jaguar, which was very cool. A lot of carnage at this event
