Default New to me Z06 seat issue??

I got my Speedway White Z06 today. There is some play in the seat. It moves back and forth about a 1/2 inch on the tracks. The tracks are tight to the floor. Not sure what it is. I didnt really get a good lok at it yet.

You guys got any ideas??

Thanks

It's called the "rocking seat" issue. Do a quick search on CorvetteForum for "Rocking seat fix". There's a few threads detailing how to fix that issue.

I 2nd that. My last vette(a 00 model) had the rocking seat issue with 38k on the clock. Lots of threads on corvetteforum addressing the issue.

I haven't personally experienced that issue with any of my C5s, but I've read about it. Supposedly there's a cheap and easy fix.

Just did this fix for the seat and it is mint now..
Pretty easy to do just a pain in the *** for something that should have been fixed at the factory..

Yeah. They probably use nylon to avoid transferring vibration. Pros and cons to everything.
