I didn't meet him. I was in Georgia, had parked mine to cool down and saw him pull up to the line. It was fast but he had called for No-Time.

Aww that's too bad. You don't see too many C5s pulling the wheels. I wish my C5 would launch like my old SS. I am pulling low 1.5 60ft times in both cars and the SS will pull the tires nearly a foot where the C5 just goes. Not that it is a big deal cause keeping the nose down is faster but a wheelie sure looks a lot better lol.

I do know Nicholbag on Corvette forum pulls the front wheels and only ran low 11's. I was told it was the shocks he is running let the weight transfer.

I just stayed with the stock suspension, even left the sway bar on and have pulled a few high 1.4 sixtys.

BTW- Is that the Black Brick hiking the tire or is that a Lightning? Hard to tell from the back.

Here's an old vid of the Bolt-On C5Z. At about 1:48 in, you'll see the wheel come off by mistake. The last pass actually shows a good representation of a decent launch.

its not mine but i pull the wheels on my 04 coupe with a stock suspension and when the juice hits a 100 shot at 4200 rpm in 1st ive been told they lift again done on a 255x50x16 hoosier dr. my avatar on corvette forum shows lift on launch
