Default built 383 ls1 or supercharged stock ls1?

I posted this over on corvette forum but didnt get much of a response so i figured i would see what you guys have to say. I had planned on building a 383 but now have ideas to just put a superchager on my car. i really hope to get between 450-500 rwhp which should be pretty easy. I think.

its an 03 with about 70K miles on it and runs great. so no real need to build a new one. but like the title says which one would you go with?

blower gives you the ability to crank it up over 500 rwhp and can be removed and resold if you get bored with the car.

I like the feel of NA power. As long as your budget supports buying good heads, having a fresh stroker motor is nice thing if you plan to hang onto the car for many years.

I think both directions are a good way to go. Some of us just like the old school NA, hearing the cam.

I have an ls1 block with the 383 Stroker kit. The sound is awesome and it runs mid tens at the track. Gas mileage sux.

Good luck on your decision !

To me 70K miles is a lot but thats just me... I personally would build a fresh 383 cause I love NA but if you can find a good deal on say a P1SC or something go that route and just run lower boost with a good safe tune.. You should easily achieve the power you are looking for...
