Default c6 insurance

I got a guy interested in my Formula and if he buys it then this time next year I will be in the market for a C6. Im talking about a base C6 or a Z51 if I can find one, no Z06s. I was wondering what the normal rate is on a vette? I got allstate right now, im paying 260 a month full coverage w/ a 500 deductible on my 00 Formula and my Daytona Ram 4X4. I will be 30 later this year and I have a perfect driving record. I have heard that a vette is cheaper then a fbody. Just curious about what you vette owners are paying.

i called allstate earlier today and they said for my 05 4X4 daytona ram and a 08 c6, full coverage on both would be 413 a month. holy hell.

the woman told me it was higher cause it was a newer car, said if i bought one close to the same yr as my 00 formula then it would be close to the same.

Full coverage on my 03 cobra(24 years old, no tickets or accidents) is 800every 6 months, for a c5 zo6 it was 1000, for a c6z is was 1100.

Mine went up $10 a month. 1999 Z28 to a 2008 C6. That was because of the year difference. Nothing to do with the car. I'm 48 with a clear driving record. Insurance company is USAA.

I had a z06 and was paying $129 a month for a z06, ws6 and 04 cavlier at age 25 through iowa mutal. I got on sr22 insurance and it went to like 300 a month so i sold the ta and z06. In august iowa mutual stopped doing business in nebraska so they set me up with a new insurance company. I got a quote on a 09 z06 and my 04 cavailer age 27. And htey told me $605 every 6 months with the sr22 insurance. I was in shock and am now kicking myself for selling the z06. I dont understand how it could be that much cheaper through a different insurance company with a sr22. maybe because i bought a house?

You REALLY need to drop Allstate if that's what they are charging you! At 23 years old with no speeding tickets/accidents or anything in the last 4 or 5 years my insurance would be around $200 a month for full coverage on my Corvette and my 2001 Dakota. At 30 with a clean record you should be more around $150 a month.

Not that I would ever do it , because I totally agree with insurance companies thinking someone who is 2 years older than me should pay half what I would , but under my parents insurance (41 and 42) I would be paying $70 a month on the Corvette/$110 for both. I doubt the difference between a 30 year old and a 41 year old would be more than $20 a month. It actually went down 10-20 a month from what my 2002 Formula was!

08 Corvette coupe with Z51 $396.00 a year with liberty mutual. This is with $500 collision deductable, 250,000/500,000 liability, PIP, ect. It does pay to be a senior citizen living in a low crime area and have seven vehicles (3 cars & 4 motorcycles) & your homeowners with them.

If your married or planning to get married, check her record also. I have 2 Denali's and a 05 vette. When I got married and put my wife on the insurance it went from $250 to $525 because of 2 tickets on her record.
