DIC Codes Hi all!
I am displaying the following DIC codes in my 1999 Corvette FRC after getting a "Service Vehicle Soon" message:
28TCS Traction Control System ABS
C1255 EBTCM Internal malfunction (5-172)
C1281 Steering Sensor Uncorrelated Malfunction (5-208,5-214)
B0-RFA Remote Function Actuation
U1016 Loss Of Communication with PCM (No SOH Message received –RFA (8-26)
U1064 Loss Of Communication with DCM (No SOH Message Received –RFA (8-35)
U1096 Loss Of Communication with IPC (No SOH Message received –RFA (8-41)
The numbers in parenthesis are referencing the chapter/page in the service manuals.
The only work I have had done to this vehicle was to fix a steering wheel lockup a couple of years ago. It looks to me like it is either a loose wire/connector or a bad module of some sort, do to the communiction loss and the first three which all seem to be control panel area related.
Looked at the manuals and not sure where to go from here. What can I do myself before I need to bring it in? I am not even sure where these connectors/modules are located to check them.
What do you all think?
