#1 Sell your Camaro to me.
#2 Buy the CTSV. Great car. It will last years and cost less to maintain versus a high mileage car. The V is very fun to drive and more convienent (4doors) to commute in.

I would choose the V. I'm saying this cause I owned a 05 V lol. The cars handle great have plenty of power even stock. Can seat 4 people with ease and get decent MPG and is stealthy not very many know it has a Ls2 under the hood. Things to look out for weak rear end will break if you hook up hard from a dig. Weak motor mounts weak bushings for the rear end and tranny mount also.

I would take the C6 over the CTSV if you do not need the back seat.
The t56 in the vette was designed for that application where as the t56 in the caddy was an after thought.
many more aftermarket parts avail for the chevy. rims etc..
Been there, Done that.

C6 is a better car in almost every way except the "extra" doors
C5 and V1 prices are more comparable (being they're similar generation design wise); roughly in the high teens low 20's for a decent example of either. lot of inherent problems with both that need to be fixed that were addressed in the later gen C6 and V2.

Coming from an X Cadillac and Corvette technician,...I would recommend hands down a vette as a daily driver over the 1st gen V. Much better car, all the way around. Only way I would advise the Caddy, is if you needed 4 doors. Then it's a no brainer. The vette, quicker, faster, better chassis, better looking, more aerodynamic, breaks-less, better mpg,..I could go on.
