It really has been quite the ordeal. Fortunately, I have the whole driveline back in the car now,..and I have started the vehicle. In the middle of switching operating systems over to SD so I can do some more testing with it. Getting closer and closer.... Just a few small issues left,...hoping to still make the half mile on the 23rd...but I need to be loaded and on my way the 22nd. So 10 days......do or die.

I just spent last night with a chick I just met lol...no way i'd trust her(literally met a week ago-)!!!! So I dunno about that advice haha.

Anyways...yeah, I am still working out grabbing a company vehicle for the event but...we'll see. If not...I'll just give you my passes. **** it.

Since I have a two day spot for the wannagofast event...and obviously my vette won't make it(thanks).... gonna slum it up and take this thing. A GENV Viper, ARROW TUNE, American Racing Headers, magnaflow mufflers, and our aeropackage. Aero package will slow it down but, whatever, it'll be fun.

Honestly,..depending on the vette...it may not be a bad choice. The cars really are phenomenal. Yes, it is loud...yes, it does have blind spots...no, it is not as comfortable as a corvette....nor is it COMPLETELY up to date with it's technology in my opinion after driving the car from Thursday. It does have all of the needed creature comforts of course. NAV, bluetooth...etc.

It is however....a drivers car. If you love shifting....if you love driving, it is NASTY. The RACE mode vs the STREET mode for suspension is night and day(although thie particular shop car(we have 3 gen V's) has tractive suspension). I like the car much better in race mode for street driving. It is....very bad on fuel. Only costs about 30 bucks to fill on 93 octane...which means, small tank.....so...be prepared for frequent fill ups....frequent. I filled up 2.5 times for a 3.25hour ride(I knocked off 40-50 minutes ).

Anyways,,,its a fun ride...but not as livable or practical as a vette by any means. SO...if I had to choose....for a daily...I would take a C7 Z06.....if I had a couple of vehicles....I would consider the GEN V Viper for a fun car.

We had a blast this past weekend. Personally loved the weather, and the event. Looking forward to having my TT C5 and the F1X C6 ready to go at the next one. Heres a few pics that have popped up.
