NEW PRODUCTS - JBA long tube and shorty headers! JBA has long tube and shorty headers available for the C5/Z06 -
Today, it's common to see a C5 Corvette or Z06 at the track - often times in the winner's circle. Whether it's an SCCA road course lapping 996 Porsches or a local drag strip racing Vipers - the C5 is a very competitive car. Add to the mix the availablity of intercooled superchargers and custom engine packages - the C5 can easily exceed the flow potential of the factory exhaust manifolds. To meet the needs of the modified Corvette and weekend racer, JBA designed a no-comprimise long tube header to greatly improve the high RPM breathing of LS1/LS6 engine. These headers features mandrel-bent 1-3/4" stainless steel primary tubes that meet in a perfectly formed 3" JBA FireconeŽ merged collector for significant improvements in scavenging. Not only do these headers flow extremely well - they fit perfectly in the C5 chassis with no loss in ground clearance. Headers include adapters to connect to factory exhaust. Note: For off-road use only. Not legal for use on emission controlled vehicles.

Bone stock -the C5 Corvette has power, handling and refinement that keep it on most magazine's "10 best" list. Not bad - but there is always room for improvement. The design team at JBA addressed some critical short comings of the factory exhaust manifolds with a fresh design that started with high flowing 1-5/8" and 1-3/4" mandrel bent tubing. By giving each cylinder a smooth unrestricted path, back pressure is reduced and flow went way up. The collector was engineered using JBA's patented FireconeŽ - a unique directional device similar to what you find on a long tube race car header - which improves flow by providing efficient scavenging of exhaust gasses. Other standard features like thick 3/8" laser-cut flanges, O.E. style JBA sealing dome connection to the exhaust and high quality hardware make them a a simple and highly effective upgrade for the C5. These headers deliver great performance improvements and keep you legal for the street because they are 50 state smog legal.
