Just bought an 04 c5 last weekend. Within 3 days ends up in the shop. "Service steering lock" Being taken care of under the recall. Just hope its not a sign of bad things to come

No new information there. I haven't heard of any other problems with the C5s. You should be fine now.

I had my ZO6 2 days and got the "Service ABS/AH/TC". Had to take it in and replaced the EBCM and BMPV which cost $2983.54. Thank God I bought the extended warranty when I got her!
