Default Electrical Problems? 02 Z06

It seems that my (new to me) 29k mile 02 Z06 may have some electrical problems.

The Service ABS and Service Active Handling messages appear randomly on the info screen. It also says "Charge Fault" when I start it in the morning, but not every day and never in the afternoon when Im leaving work for lunch or for the day. The voltage gauge reads normal (13.5-14v) even when that "Charge Fault" message is displayed.

My fuel gauge is also giving me bad readings. The other night it read about 1/2 full. I left for work in the morning and it was alarmingly low. I added 16 gallons and it reads full again. After driving a while it reads where I would expect it to. I started it once today and it said it was totally full again. I turned the car off and back on and the gauge read what it should.

Any suggestions or ideas what may be causing this and how to fix it?

Thanks

When was the last time you checked your brake fluid (or brakes)?

Of course, you can always pull the codes to see what gives:

Also, check your grounds:

You might have a problem with your PCM and/or your ABS-Traction Control computer. There are quite a few onboard computers/modules.

My ABS-Traction Control module fried and was doing the same thing yours is except for the fuel thing.

Get it scanned. You have a warranty? My dealership got it all fixed for me (albeit was an ordeal figuring it out).

Good luck
