I think it's a 24mm bolt. We usually use air...come right off.

If it was manual, and I was doing it by hand, I'd say put iti in gear...and try breaking it loose.

Are you trying to just get the nut off?...or did you get the nut off and now trying to get off the pulley?

If its option 2....you need a pulley remover for that.

Let me know.

Ok then. SInce I am guessing your not useing air?..

Go underneath a WELL JACKED AND BALANCED VEHICLE... please support the car properly.

Then, on the bellhousing, they're should be some sort of a hole/or that you can see the flexplate/flywheel.

You can use a big screw driver...or even a prybar...depending on ground clearence. You'd need two people. One hold the flywheel from turning, while the other removes the bolt.

Should work.

Never done it on an automatic without air tools. On an M6 you can, put it in gear and stomp the brakes and hold the parking brake. You can use a long breaker bar.

AIR TOOLS are the way to go though... never gonna try again without em..

I am using air, but my air pressure only goes up to 165 lbs. The tool from Summit looks like it may work. Thanks, guys.... LS-1 Tech rocks..
