Default C5 Clutch Hydraulics

How are the clutch hydraulics in the C5's (master & slave)? Are they the same crappy pieces as the f-bods or no? Would you recommend upgrading one or both, and if so, what should I upgrade them to? The car will probably be getting an LS7 clutch, and I am hoping for over 500rwhp.

I had a mcleod adjustable master w/ 02 f-bod slave on my Trans Am and it was fine, just pricey. I was wondering if the C5 units needed to be upgraded as the F-bod units do, or if they were different/better?

The F-body stuff does not fit the C5's as far as i know. On the C5's there's some braided line that comes off the slave first then goes to the master cyl. line. If they have the same orfice problems as the f-bodies i dont know. I'd just get 04 z06 stuff anyways

Most people add the McLoed during the swap as a general upgrade measure from what I have read. My tuner insist that during my upcoming clutch swap I upgrade to the McLoed. I have had the Clutch peddle stick to the floor a few times at the track so hopefully this will not be an issue soon. They are not cheap to change but what really is on a Corvette...

Anyone have any idea of the part numbers for the Z06 slave and master?
