ZO6 gearing ?

Default ZO6 gearing ?

Did any come with 3.42 ratio's? I have 2 center sections with 3.42 ratio's and I have been told that are rare. Can anyone comfirm this?

They all come with 3.42s only 1,2 and 3rd are lower than a regular vette transmission. 4th is still 1 to 1 and I think 5th and 6th may be lower but not sure.

A local engineer droped these off to me to check out, the pitch on the gears are different and the case is for 2006 ZO6 only since it bolts to the transmission differently.

All C5 Z06s have 3.42 rear gearing stock. If you are referring to the C6 Z06, I have no idea.....

It doesn't bolt to the tranny any differently. The gears AND the case are shot-peened for extra hardness and durability. You can get them brand new from Fred Beans Chevrolet for about $1050 shipped. But in used resale value they have little to no more worth than a regular M6 3.42 rear end.
