C6 Z06 brakes and CCW SP500s -- installed
Well this has been a month-long process and a ton of trial an error. But I finally got the car on the road Saturday! :*****: :*****:
These are impressive brakes! During the bed-in-process I really stood on the stop pedal and the car stops considerablly quicker from 30mph then before! I was trying not to beat on them too much, but I did drive the car quite a bit in aggressive and 97* Manhattan, NYC weather and experienced no fade or any other problems. After a few laps at NHIS with my old setup the brakes were not happy.
Anyway, here are the pix:

Wanna hear the worst part? This was the second set of CCWs I bought. The first one wouldn't clear the brakes. So I had to buy another brand new set of wheels and tires.

They look F'n sweet, dude! I just had new brakes installed (see sig) about a month and a half ago. They not only make the car look better, but the stopping power is just plain awesome.
Nice lookin' Z
