Default Average price of a Stall converter install?

I will be installing a TCI SSF3500 soon and was wondering what a "good" price is for installation. What have you been quoted? What have you paid?

BTW, the correct terminology is "Torque Converter". Stall is just a characteristic of a torque converter.

Try $650 for Futral to put a converter in a C5. I'm gonna pay it as soon as I can get it there.

That is more like it. I was quoted no lower than $500.00. I believe the book calls for 5-8 hours to perform a swap. However I'm not sure; it was some time since I discussed this with a reputable shop.

Yeah I think it's a fair price. I'd do it myself but I don't feel like fooling with it. It's bad enough I'm gonna install the heads and cam.
